Hi! I’m Antonn Park, an LA-based editor from Massachusetts with six years of editorial experience. I hold an MS in crime and justice studies with a concentration in victimology, a BS in economics and a minor in political science, and a copyediting certificate from UC San Diego Extension. I’m also a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and ACES: The Society for Editing.
My clients include individuals (directors, professors), public and private organizations (J-PAL, World Bank, Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, MIT Press, Urban Institute, The Hamilton Project at Brookings Institution, American Marketing Association, Boston University Global Development Policy Center, Charles River Associates), and the government (Federal Reserve of St. Louis).
After getting my master's degree in 2009, I began working with small nonprofits and businesses. I soon realized I had a knack for editing and fell in love with helping writers express themselves clearly and confidently. I believe that all writers have something important to say. My job as an editor is not to point out mistakes and judge but to ensure that you, as an author, present your best work.
I’m experienced in editing a wide range of material for economics, including articles, papers, reports, and books; reports, briefs, grant proposals, transcripts, and presentations; and training material, business proposals, and company profiles. I’m also familiar with several style manuals, such as Associated Press, Chicago Manual of Style, American Psychological Association, and can work with any house style.
When I'm not working, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
